Hands getting too tired to keep firing those pictures, or are you interested in being able to talk to your camera? Well soon Canon shooters will be able to operate their cameras by voice when they connect it to their computers. Scott Forman is finishing production on ShutterVioce, a program that will allow users to vioce operate their camera through Canon's EOS Utility. The program may start beta testing in December. Right now you can see a demo of the program embedded below or read more details about the program over at Digital Photography Insights.

Field Hockey Season Close
The MSU girls field hockey team competed in the NCAA finals tournament, I got the chance to shoot during the semifinal rounds. I wish I had been able to shoot on Sunday during the final round, it snowed so hard that they had to postpone the game due to weather. All teams played well but Iowa won the quaterfinal round and will advance.

Shrinking Markets
The freedom of the press is under assault and no body cares. This one is slipping under the radar, why is it that there no longer are any careers in photojournalism, why are there so many positions in PR, Advertising and Marketing?
The world seems to think anymore these days that youtube, camera phones and stock footage can replace real news coverage. All the while money is pumped into these other careers meant to inform with a angle, its like 1984 but run by corporations.
What will happen if these things continue?
